Orthopedic Joint Injections
Joint injections are procedures intended to alleviate pain and inflammation. Dr. Perez has a special interest in Orthopedic conditions with a background in Physical Therapy which has enabled him to treat a number of different musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. Our goal is to understand underlying conditions which is causing a patient’s affliction and formulating a treatment plan for each individual’s needs. Oftentimes, these are related to an acute injury due to sports or accidents, repetitive stress such as work-related injuries, or simply “wear and tear” due to aging.
Conditions that we typically treat are:
- Myofascial pain (Trigger point injection)
- Frozen shoulder (Adhesive Capsulitis)
- Shoulder impingement syndrome
- Rotator cuff strain/sprain
- Tennis Elbow
- Golfer’s Elbow
- De Quervain’s Tenosynovitis
- Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
- Trigger Finger
- Hip Bursitis (Trochanteric)
- Knee pain/strain/sprain
- Calcaneal Bursitis/Achilles Tendonitis
- Osteoarthritis of joints
